Workshop for practical health care

During June and October, 2017, on the instructions of the MOH jointly with the regional Department of health of SKR on the basis of the Regional perinatal center № 1 (Shymkent city) the Academy organized workshops for health workers.

Workshops were conducted by specialists of the crisis centre “Kriziu Tyrimo Centras” (Republic of Lithuania) on-site and remotely. The total number trained is 176 obstetrician-gynecologists, neonatologists, anaesthesiologists, midwives and neonatal nurses.

According to the results of the workshops there was reinforced the principle of teamwork among obstetric, neonatal and anaesthetic units for the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric hemorrhage, shock, the pneumothorax, convulsions of newborn, hemorrhagic disease of the newborn, etc. There were mastered the principles of clinical audit in the institution.

Participants of Hybridlab course “Neonatal resuscitation” were trained to the principles of resuscitation of the newborn, based on the latest recommendations of the International United Committee of resuscitation, the European resuscitation Committee, and the Academy of pediatricians and the American heart Association of America. People trained noted the positive dynamics of implementation of the principles of evidence-based medicine in everyday clinical practice.
