On July 28-29, 2018, the members of the debate club of the Turkestan region organized a traditional republican debating tournament "Hot summer filled with so much love." The tournament, which was attended by the debaters of Aktobe, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Almaty, Pavlodar, Shymkent, was held at the top-level. The chairman of the debating club of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy "Зиялы казак" Askarbaeva Jasmina won the nomination for "Үздік төреші".
