Today, in Shymkent, on the basis of the South Kazakhstan medical Academy, coordination Council for oncological diseases "Results of cancer care in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019" is being held in an online format.

By opening the meeting, Vice Minister of healthcare of Kazakhstan L.Aktayeva noted the importance of the implemented measures of the comprehensive plan to combat cancer in 2019.

She drew the attention of the heads of organizations that provide cancer care in the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of regional health departments, employees of the Kazakh research Institute of oncology and radiology, leading oncologists to the interaction of services, the quality of medical services provided to the population.

Rector of the South Kazakhstan medical Academy M. Rysbekov focused on the field meeting initiated by the Ministry, which allows medical professionals to exchange experience, replenish theoretical knowledge, get acquainted and then introduce innovative methods of treatment of cancer in the regions. He also focused on training at the University.

Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh research Institute of oncology and radiology D. Kaidarova gave the floor to the head of the strategic development service O.V. Shatkovskaya.

- Improvement of cancer care in the country is carried out in the framework of the tasks of the State program of healthcare development of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Densaulyk" for the years 2016-2019 and the Integrated plan on the fight against cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan to 2018-2022гг., in the structure of oncological diseases in the first place is breast cancer; on the second - lung cancer third - gastric cancer. 59.6% of the age structure of patients-people of working age, - said the speaker.

In 2019, 42 measures were implemented in the realization of the Comprehensive plan to combat cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022.
