Visit of Indian students the cultural and historical site Shymkala
On November 3, 2024, as part of an introduction to the history of the city of Shymkent students from India, together with a teacher from the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology, visited a cultural and historical site, an ancient settlement, the citadel Shymkala.
This is where the history of the city of Shymkent begins. This is a unique historical object, the only in Kazakhstan. Archaeologists believe that Shymkent is more than 2,500 years old. Archaeological excavations are continuously carried out here. There are open and closed museums, a prison, various historical monuments and a beautiful view of the city.
Admission is free. There is a guide in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English).
Students from such groups as МША-02-2022, МША-11-2022, МША-12-2022, МШБ-12-2022 enjoyed visiting the historical site and took pictures for memory.
