Today in South Kazakhstan medical academy signed an agreement with LLP "Branch of Shanghai Construction Group Co., LTD in Kazakhstan" in the design and preparation of a feasibility study of the project "Multidisciplinary University hospital with a consultative-diagnostic centre in Shymkent, Kazakhstan."

The hospital of the future will be located in the district "Bozaric-2" and will be designed for 1,000 and 700 visits per shift, total area is 100 thousand square meters, is expected to 9 floors above ground and 2 underground floors.

As noted by the founder of SKMA, a well-known businessman, deputy of the regional maslikhat Serikzhan Seitzhanov, the new facility should be unique with a inimitable architecture for the whole of Central Asia, attractive for medical tourism, the scale of the work performing, design, equipped with the latest facilities. For instance, the project is planned specialized medical areas with placement together with the manufacturer of appropriate specialized equipment and specialized companies known to the world medical community.

The rector of the Academy Myrzabek Myrzashevich Rysbekov and General Director of LLP “Branch of Shanghai Konstrakshn Groups Co., LTD in Kazakhstan” Huang Wei noted the importance of detailed development of construction works and civil engineering.

The parties plan to start construction works and laying the foundation in August-September this year. In total, the complex will cover about 35-40 hectares of land.

The total investment is $ 180 million.
