Transition to blended learning in the spring semester 2020-2021 academic year

Dear colleagues and students!

We announce that in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, we will begin a gradual transition to traditional education.

The Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan made the appropriate decisions on the organization of blended learning in the spring semester of the current academic year. In this regard, the university has developed activities for the organization of the spring semester in a full-time-distance format.

The epidemiological situation associated with the Covid-9 pandemic in the South Kazakhstan region makes it possible to plan a gradual transition to a blended learning format in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year and subsequently to full-time education (traditional training format).

On December 30, 2020, by the decision of the Academic Council of JSC "SKMA", the transition to the format of blended (full-time and distance) education in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year was approved.

All Spring Semester classes for all programs and courses will begin according to the academic calendar. Blended learning means that the practical and laboratory part of the class will be conducted face-to-face in a classroom with a teacher. Lectures are planned to be held in a distance format.

At the entire stage of the transition to mixed education and in the future to traditional education, the university will focus on the epidemiological situation in the country and the region.

Training will necessarily be organized taking into account the requirements of the sanitary and epidemiological regime.
