Training students of SKMA in the Practical Skills Center using Triage System
In order to improve the educational process in the Practical Skills Center of SKMA, as well as according to the order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 450 "The Rules for the provision of emergency medical care in the Republic of Kazakhstan" the functional design of the Triage zone is organized, according to which the procedure for providing emergency medical care and the distribution of incoming patients into groups are determined based on the priority of emergency medical care, and the introduction of which into the work of health care facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan currently is relevant.
According to the Triage system there are three zones: in the red zone care is provided exclusively to patients who need for emergency or intensive medical care. In the yellow zone care is provided to patients who need for medical care but not on an emergency basis. In the green zone of the emergency room patients arrive for planned hospitalization, as well as patients in need of minor medical care.
With the use of the Triage zone it is possible to conduct practical training not only for students of SKMA, but also for practical healthcare specialists.
