Traditional photo contest «Әр қазақ менің жалғызым» («Every Kazakh is my only one»)

On 12.02.2024, Astana hosted the traditional photo contest «Әр қазақ менің жалғызым» ("Every Kazakh is my only one"), organized by the «Ақ жол» Democratic Party.
The competition was held in portrait, thematic and other genres in order to reveal the nature and content of photographs, promote the picturesque nature of Kazakhstan, the way of life and appearance of ordinary people, significant events in Kazakh history, the position of the Alash movement. The purpose of the event was also to improve the creative abilities of people involved in photography, as well as to attract media and public attention to them.
In total, about 160 works from 31 authors were submitted to the competition this year. The presented works were analyzed by the chairman of the jury Kainar Olzhai, as well as members of the jury, well-known industry professionals such as photojournalists Maksat Adilkhanov and Yerlan Omarov.
This competition was held between participants called «professional photographers» and «amateur photojournalists», at which the senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages SKMA Kemelkhan Dinara Zhubaykhanovna took the second place among "amateur photojournalists" for the photo «Algeria», was awarded a prize of 200 thousand tenge and awarded a diploma the competition.
