“The spreading problems of destructive currents and prevention of extremism”

On January 19, 2016 at the Academy Hall the department of youth policy organized an extended meeting on the topic “The spreading problems of destructive currents and prevention of extremism”.

The meeting was attended by the theologits Medet Muzaffaruly Halykov, the Head of organization and regulation department on information and propaganda work of State Communal Enterprise “Center for Social Initiatives” of the Department of internal policy and religious affairs of South - Kazakhstan region; Kenzhebek Torebayuly Rysbekov, the theologian specialist of Rehabilitation Department “Center for Social Initiatives” of the Department of internal policy and religious affairs of South -Kazakhstan region; Kynatbek Berdalyuly Kemelbekov, the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, the heads of the Departments and groups’ curators.

At the meeting the invited theologian specialists explained all the participants the measures to prevent religious extremism among young people, how to strengthen inter-confessional peace and harmony and to form religious education of young generation.

The students asked their questions and received irrefragable answers. Students also responded to questions of the invited specialists and shared their opinions on this issue.
