The IV International Student Olympiad “From the teachings of Abu Ali Ibn Sino to the third Renaissance” was held in Bukhara.

On January 26-27, 2024, students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy participated and won prizes at the IV International Student Olympiad "From the teachings of Abu Ali Ibn Sino to the third Renaissance" in Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan.
More than 200 students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the Olympiad. As part of the Olympiad, students demonstrated their knowledge in 38 medical fundamental and clinical areas. About 20 master classes were held for the audience from leading foreign and domestic specialists in fundamental sciences, research methods, topical issues of pediatrics and dentistry in modern medicine.
According to the results of the competitive tests, 4 prizes were awarded to students of the Faculty of General Medicine, 2 prizes of the Faculty of Pharmacy, 4 prizes of the Faculty of Dentistry, 8 prizes of the Department of Surgery, oncology and traumatology
