«The founder of Kazakh cinema» – Shaken Aimanov is 110 years old

In 2024, it will be 110 years since the birth of Shaken Kenzhetayuly Aimanov, an outstanding figure in the Kazakh film industry. His life was full of bright moments, career growth and memorable films and roles. The name of the legendary personality will forever remain in the annals of the history of Kazakhstan.
15.02.2024 in the universal library named after A.S. Pushkin, with the support of the educational department of SKMA and the departments of “History of Kazakhstan and social and social disciplines” and “Social and humanitarian disciplines”, held an educational evening dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Sh. Aimanov.
The creative evening was attended by the Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, singer Abylaykhan Ospanov, students of school No. 9, No. 8 of our city and 1st year students of the educational programs “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” and “Healthcare”
In addition, an exhibition was organized where one could see personal belongings, awards, photographic materials, documents, and books. The famous works of Sh. Aimanov, his impressive films, the actor’s work, and his life’s journey are colorfully demonstrated here.
The purpose of the educational evening is to instill a caring attitude towards the past through studying the creativity of outstanding personalities of the Kazakh people.
For their active participation in organizing the educational evening, the head of the department Nurzhanbaeva Zhanat Oralbaevna and 1st year students Temirkhan Darkhan, Ermek Didar, Murat Erkebulan were awarded certificates of gratitude.
