THE“CORONАVIRUS INFECTION” LECTURE IN THE SOUTH KAZAKHSTAN STATE UNIVERSITY NAMED M.АUEZOV

Residents of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology Department Аbdimutalіuly Dauletiyar, Sauyt Gulzhan Eralykizy under the leadership of Ph.D., acting associate professor Berdalieva F.A. and candidate of medical sciences, prof. Abuovа G.N. at 18th February 2020 at the request of the Higher School of Information Technology and Energy of the South Kazakhstan State University named M. A. Auezov gave a lecture on the theme "Coronаvirus infection" for students of the specialties "Electric power engineering" and "Heat power engineering." Students got acquainted with the disease caused by a new variety of coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the relevance of the 2019-nCoV problem, the epidemiological situation in the world and the country, the transmission mechanism, the main clinical manifestations of the disease, the diagnostic algorithm and modern treatment methods. The preventive measures and infection control for the fight against the disease were described in detail, as well as the algorithm of the medical worker’s actions during the provision of medical care in cases of suspected new coronavirus (nCoV) infection was described, and measures of hygiene of the hands and respiratory organs were demonstrated.
