Students about the role of Mass Media, national customs and holidays

What is the role of Mass Media in the human life? Which roles play Mass Media in the latest medical achievements?  In order to reply to this question historical excursion with talking about development of Mass Media in the latest medical achievements was conducted in the demonstrative lesson by the students of group 105 on speciality “Pharmacy” and S.N. Kozhakhmetova, senior teacher of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages department. 

Presentations on the theme “Television is the main way of Mass Media in the modern society”, “Internet as a way of Mass Media”, “The role of Mass Media”, “Fourth Power” were demonstrated during the lesson. Group were divided into subgroups: medical workers and journalists. The themes of discussion are “The participation of Mass Media in propaganda of healthy lifestyle”, “What health workers expect from Mass Media activities?”, “Deficiency of funds for expensive operations”, “Addiction, HIV, AIDS, Alcoholism” and others were discussed by students hardly. 

In order to develop the students’ cognitive interests in the history and traditions of their people, the demonstrative lesson on theme “National traditions and celebrations. Report  about training and professional practice.  Compiling a report about experience in the class” was held by teacher F.A.Kaspanova with the group 108 on specialty “General Medicine” on April 5.

The students covered Dastarkhan, which they presented amicably about the features of preparing “Nauryz kozhe”, the history and secrets of making a healing drink “Koumiss”, the benefit and harm of “sumalak”. 

The highlight of the demonstrative lesson was the dance of the joints “Kara zhorga”, which was amicably taken up by guests and students of the group.
