Seminar "Experience in the development of a multimedia component in the curriculum"

In order to implement the State program “Modernization of medical education for 2016-2019” and in the framework of the project “ModeHEdErasmus +”, on March 29, 2019, a seminar “Experience in the development of a multimedia component in curricula” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy on which project frameworks electronic tutorials were presented: “Improving the best practices of rendering first aid” Seidakhmetova A.A. and “Public Health and Healthcare Management” Akhmadiyeva K.Ye.

The seminar discussed issues of the relevance of the modernization of modern medical education, which has recently become a new qualitative state. Questions of methodological assistance were discussed to further improve the system of providing medical services by modernizing training courses in nursing and public health at medical universities in Kazakhstan. 

The seminar was attended by employees of the educational and methodological center, the department of evidence-based medicine, the heads of the departments of Emergency Medical Care and Nursing, Social Health Insurance and Public Health, Medbiophysics and Information Technologies, as well as heads of departments and teaching staff of SKMA.

The modern higher medical school is a new high-tech educational system, new educational programs, e-learning tools and new conditions for the implementation of state educational standards.

In conclusion, the participants of the seminar expressed their solidarity and support to government activities aimed at improving the quality of education in the medical universities of the country.
