Scientific and practical seminar of doctors of the Turkestan region, dedicated to the issues of current infectious diseases
On April 17, 2024, the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology held a regional scientific and practical seminar in the assembly hall of SKMA on issues of socially significant infectious diseases. The seminar was attended by general practitioners, infectious disease specialists, pediatricians, epidemiologists, doctors and paramedics of emergency medicine. The seminar was held due to the tense epidemiological situation regarding whooping cough, hepatitis A, and other infectious diseases.

Kamytbekova K.Zh., candidate of medical sciences, acting associate professor - “Viral hepatitis A at the present stage: issues of epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment.”
Auezkhanov S.P., assistant of the department - “Anthrax: etiology, epidemiology, clinic, diagnosis and treatment.”
Clinical cases of socially significant infections were demonstrated to practical healthcare, and step-by-step recommendations were given for the management of patients with CCHF, whooping cough, viral hepatitis, anthrax and malaria.
