REPUBLICAN INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE «COVID-19 PANDEMIC: CURRENT PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF SOLUTION»

On 12th February 2021 on the online platform of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University was held the Republican interdisciplinary scientific conference "COVID-19 Pandemic: Actual Problems and Solutions".

At the breakout sessions resident-doctors, master's degree students, doctoral students from the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy presented their scientific works, clinical cases. The conference participants had the opportunity to exchange the most relevant and reliable information on the clinical course, diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.

Following the results of the conference, the organizing committee nominated the next reports:

1st place - Gulbanu Ganikyzy Shaimerdenova, 1-year doctoral student. The topic of the report: «A retrospective analysis of COVID-19 in pregnant women treated in the city of Shymkent». Scientific supervisor: Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor G. N. Abuova, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.

3rd place - Sara Zhasuzakovna Zhumabekova, resident-doctor in the specialty «Infectious diseases, including children's». Topic of the report: «Rare clinical manifestations of coronavirus infection» Scientific supervisor: PhD, Professor G. N. Abuova, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.

All participants of the conference were issued certificates.
