Polpharma and SKSPhA : Dawn of cooperation

On May 24, 2016 a delegation from Santo Member of Polpharma Group, headed by businessman and Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Gdansk Jerzy Starak has come with an official visit to South-Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy. Santo Member of Polpharma Group is a trade mark of JSC "Khimfarm". The company develops, manufactures and supplies the markets of Kazakhstan and Central Asia with affordable medicines of high quality. As well known, SKSPhA and Polpharmа have signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of education and science. In the meeting there was shown a video about the scientific directions of SKSPhA and pharmaceutical cluster, there were discussed the development strategy of pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan. Mr. Starak has visited the laboratories of genome research and medicinal plants of SKSPhA. In addition, on this day a solemn opening of the first production line in the new plant for aseptic powders wastage of antibiotics was conducted. The opening was attended by not only representatives of Poland, but also by the leadership of SKSPhA such as rector B. D. Seksenbayev and vice-rectors B. K. Makhatov and B. K. Nurmashev. The guests were given a tour of the plant and acquainted with the principles of its work. Summing up the day, we can say that the meeting was fruitful and the two parties will continue cooperation in this direction.
