November 30, 2023, the First Congress of lipidologists of Kazakhstan was held on the basis of the National Scientific Cardiac Surgery Center.

The congress of lipidologists was actively attended by leading cardiologists of the Turkestan region and a teacher Shuasheva Е.A of the Department of GP - 3 of the SKMA. The first congress of leading lipidologists was held to consolidate work in the regions to familiarize and discuss issues of reducing cardiovascular risk within the lipid service based on international guidelines and modern approaches, discuss the management of atherogenic dyslipidemia, organize the work of lipid centers, including patient profile issues and their routing, as well as to share experience in the treatment of complex patients with dyslipidemia between by specialists of the Republic of Kazakhstan
