The Department of Surgical Disciplines organized on November 20, 2018 in community number 1 of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy a seminar on the theme “Day of quitting smoking”, devoted to the International Day of quitting smoking. The meeting was attended by the head of the department, MD, professor. B. Abdurakhmanov, Associate Professor of the Department, M. Zhanteev spoke about the general state of public health, bad habits and their effect on the human body.
