Meeting with veterans on the theme «The feat is not forgotten»

On May 13, 2022 the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and "AMANAT" party organized a meeting with veterans of our city within the patriotic project "The feat is not forgotten", dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Great Victory. Shavkat Koshkarovich Islamkulov, veteran of Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, deputy executive secretary of Shymkent city branch of party "𝗔 𝗠 𝗔 𝗡 𝗔 𝗧", head of fraction Tulegenov Bekaydar Musayevich and students of our educational institution took part in the meeting.

Shavkat Koshkarovich Islamkulov, a veteran of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, spoke about the damage the site caused to humanity and the soldiers who served.

The population in the area of the test site still needs special state care, many residents are suffering from the consequences of nuclear tests. The feat of each veteran who contributed to the elimination of the consequences of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site will become an example for young people.
