Meeting Between the Rector of SKMA and Professors from the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine

On 11/26/2024, within the walls of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA), Rector Seitzhanova Zhanna Serikzhanovna met with professors of the NAZARBAYEV UNIVERSITY School of Medicine - Jonas Cruz and Paolo Colet.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss promising areas of cooperation in the field of medical education and scientific research. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of implementing joint research projects and the Visiting — professors program, which allows attracting specialists in various fields of medicine with significant scientific authority to share experiences and master advanced technologies and innovative techniques. 
Jonas Cruz and Paolo Colet highly appreciated the contribution of SKMA to the training of healthcare professionals and expressed their willingness to share their experience and scientific developments. In turn, the Rector of SKMA stressed the importance of joint efforts in the development of medical science and educational programs that meet international standards.
This meeting was an important step towards strengthening scientific and educational ties between the two leading universities of Kazakhstan.
