Master class of Abuova G.N. “Presentation of elective course” Elements of medical mediation in the practice of a doctor””

At the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology on April 20, 2018 the master class was held by the head of the department, c.m.s. Abuova G.N. on the topic: "Presentation of an elective course «Elements of medical mediation in the practice of a doctor» for interns and undergraduates of the specialty "Medicine". The aim of the master class was to improve the professional competencies of students in the field of medical mediation, the formation of interest in the content of the elective course "Elements of medical mediation in the practice of a doctor", the development  of the students' knowledge of mediation as an alternative method for resolving disputes (conflicts), familiarization with theory and practice of mediation taking into account the specifics of the application of mediation in healthcare organizations, in accordance with the Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the master class, innovative educational technologies such as e-learning, case-study with imitation mediations, PBL, and essay method were applied.

The students were offered 2 video-cases with a package of tasks: to prepare and hold meditative sessions, to help the parties to find options for resolving the conflict situation.

Invited guests: d.m.s. Dosibaeva G.N., c.m.s. Seydakhmetova A.A., highly evaluated the methodical and organizational level of the Master Class.
