March 24 – World Tuberculosis Day

Tuberculosis has been declared a global problem since 1993 on the initiative of the World Health Organization. Since then, the World Tuberculosis Day has been celebrated annually on March 24.

Education of cleanliness, neatness, responsibility. To this end, the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology together with students, the regional tuberculosis dispensary and employees of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological control of Shymkent organized a flash mob called "We will defeat tuberculosis".
