March 18 is National Dress Day

On 03/18/2024, the Department of Engineering Disciplines organized an open educational hour for the National Dress Day with students of group B-FOT-04-22, according to the plan created and the new celebration of Nauryz, approved by the rector of the UCMA.
This day will be dedicated to national dress. For many centuries, Kazakh national clothes have been distinguished by simplicity and rationality.
Natural materials such as leather, wool, felt, fabric, precious stones and metals used in national clothes not only give a person warmth and comfort, but also reflect the glory and wealth of the wearer.
"In the era of modern modernization, national clothes have acquired a new interpretation, not destroying their essence, but combining old traditions and modern trends. The national style has become an integral part of the culture and history of the country, emphasizing the national character and unity of the nation," the ministry said in a statement.
National Clothing Day-allows each person to express their individuality through the form of clothing, as well as to show the unity and cultural diversity of Kazakhstan.
