Ludomania is a disease of society

The curator of the group B-ТРPA-02-20 of the educational program "Technology of pharmaceutical production" Bakhtiyarova Balzhan Almakhanbetovna together with the group held an open educational hour.

In recent years, the country has been concerned about the growing number of those who suffer from gambling, bet everything they have, and get into a difficult situation. It is true that some people have even reached a situation where they spend the night in a bookmaker's office, counting their last penny in their pocket.

During the educational hour, the students were divided into 3 groups. The main causes of gambling addiction are loneliness, dissatisfaction, easy prey, rapid dissolution in various addictions, mental disorders,
- Why does a person gamble?
- What needs does a person want to satisfy during the game?
- Who, in the opinion of a gambler, controls a person's life? Is it him or this bad habit?
- What is the reason that there is no interest in life except for the game?
- If the most comfortable place for a person is a gambling establishment, how does he imagine his future life?
- Does a person deliberately bring himself to such trouble? Or is ludomania a psychotic illness?- I had a heated discussion between the students and was looking for answers to the above questions.

Malik Myrzakhanovich, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, thanked the organizers, noting that ludomania is a big problem that arises among passionate youth, both personally and socially.
