"Liver cirrhosis: common and rare complications", combined with the International Congress "IX Central Asian Gastroenterological Week-2024"

From 01.11.2024 to 03.11.2024 in Almaty city the first in Kazakhstan conference of the Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) "Liver cirrhosis: common and rare complications", combined with the International Congress "IX Central Asian Gastroenterological Week-2024" (CAGW), in the work of which participated representatives of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology.
In the framework of the conference APASL, together with CAGW, as a speaker, the head of the department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor Abuova Gulzhan Narkenovna presented a report on the topic "NAFLD and COVID-19 - two pandemics that broke out at the same time".
Also in the section of young scientists participated assistant of the department Nurmagambet Symbat with the theme of the report "Liver cirrhosis in the outcome of congenital cytomegalovirus hepatitis in a child, ended with liver transplantation" and infectious disease specialist of the second year of training Bektan Bekzhan with the theme of the report "Liver cirrhosis and intestinal microbiota: is there a causal relationship?", who were awarded diplomas for active participation in the International Congress.
