Lessons from a scientific conference

On May 30, 2024, a republican scientific and practical conference “History and modern experience” was organized in the city of Kentau, Turkestan region, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Sultanbek Kozhanov, an outstanding statesman and public figure, “Sultanbek Kozhanov and the idea of creating a national state.”
In addition to well-known historians, the event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia and government bodies, public figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers of higher educational institutions, employees of archives and museums, doctoral students and heads of educational institutions.
At the plenary session of the scientific conference, senior lecturer of the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines” of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Kabyl Algabek Adilbekuly made a report on the topic “The Artistic Creativity of Sultanbek Kozhanuly”. Akim of the city of Kentau Tasov Zhandos Kalmyrzauly presented A. Kabyl with the medal “S. Kozhanov-130 years”.
