In the framework of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities (WRWU) every six months the ranking of more than 20000 universities in the world, including in terms of regions and individual countries, is conducted. 

The rating is calculated by research group of Cybermetrics Lab in National Research Council of Spain and assesses the presence of universities in the Internet space based on a combined indicator that takes into account both the volume of web content (number of pages and files) and the apparent influence of these publications by the number of external citations.

The rating has been published since 2004 and is published twice a year (January and July). 

According to the rating in July 2017, among Kazakhstani medical universities SKSPhA occupies the second place in the list of rating after S.D.Asfendiyarov KazNMU.

The dynamics’ analysis of Kazakhstani universities ranking in the world ranking Webometrics Ranking of World Universities since January, 2017 to July, 2017 indicates that the most significant dynamics is observed for SKSPhA – improvement of the rating place on 5025 points.
