"INTERDISCIPLINARY NEUROLOGY"

On November 18-19, 2021, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Interdisciplinary Neurology" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in a mixed mode (online and offline formats).
The conference was organized by the staff of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology of the SKMA with the support of the Public Health Department of the Turkestan region and the Health Department of Shymkent.
The head of the department, Professor N.A.Zharkinbekova, answering questions from the media, stressed that the scientific, practical and educational forum allowed a wide range of neurologists, cardiologists, neurosurgeons, therapists, rehabilitologists, neurogenetics, general practitioners from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as colleagues from near and far abroad to share their experience. The results of the work of scientists for a year and a half, carried out under the conditions of the raging pandemic of coronavirus infection, were heard. During the conference, issues were discussed and real advice was given on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system in both adults and children. In just two days, over 15,000 doctors took part in the conference on the YouTube channel. "It's been a year since we hit the nail on the head: we attract leading doctors from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to the dialogue in the information space," Professor Nazira Asanovna Zharkinbekova added.
On the first day of the conference, the rector of SKMA, Professor Myrzabek Myrzashevich Rysbekov, chief freelance neurologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Nervous Diseases with a course of neurosurgery of KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov, MD, Professor Saule Tleubergenovna Turuspekova, who noted that the scientific forum has great informational and educational value and contributes to improving the quality of medical care for patients with nervous system damage, wished the participants successful and productive work.
The section "COVID–19 and neurological complications" was attended by: Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the SKMA, Professor G.N.Abuova; Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology of the Medical University of Astana L.E.Eszhanova; Professor of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University of Almaty N.I.Raspopova; Head of the Department of Neurology of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Discussions and questions brought together the speakers of the section "Pain syndrome in the defeat of the peripheral nervous system – a new look in diagnosis and treatment", such as E.S. Nurguzhaev - MD, Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases with the course of Neurosurgery of KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov, I.N. Samartsev -MD, Associate Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases of the Military Medical Academy named after S.M.Kirov, St. Petersburg, T.N. Khaybullin - MD, Professor of the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology Semey Medical University, Semey, Abdilmanova B.R. - Head of the Department of Neurology of the UDP Hospital, Almaty, Yakupov E.Z. - Professor, Head of the Department of Kazan State Medical University, Tatarstan, Grigolashvili M.A. - Professor, Head of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Rehabilitation of the NAO "MUK", Karaganda.

Zharkinbekova - Professor, Head of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology of the UCMA.
