"Gratitude is my duty"

On February 28, 2022, the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy together with the International Faculty organised an event "Gratitude is my duty" dedicated to March 1 - Thanksgiving Day. Rysbekov M. Rector of SKMA, congratulated the audience on the holiday. A specially prepared concert programme was presented and the history of the holiday was told.

1 March is Gratitude Day. It is a sign of deep respect for the sacred Kazakh land and the hospitable Kazakh people, who have become a graceful settlement for millions of representatives of different ethnic groups who, by the will of fate, were forced to migrate to the Kazakh land. In difficult times the Kazakh people have unhesitatingly coped with pain, which today has become the moral dimension of moral relations between representatives of different nationalities of the country.
