EXPLANATORY WORK FOR 1ST AND 2ND YEAR STUDENTS OF THE PHARMACY FACULTY ON THE PRINCIPLES OF WORKING WITH THE INTEGRATED GPA SYSTEM IMPLEMENTED IN THE ACADEMY
On February 11, 2025, a meeting with 1st and 2nd year students of the educational programs «Pharmacy» and «Technology of Pharmaceutical Production» held in the assembly hall of the Academy by the initiative of the youth policy department and the dean's office of the faculty of pharmacy. Employees of the youth policy department explained to the students the principles of work of the integrated GPA system implemented at the Academy, as well as its importance and necessity for students.
In addition, during the meeting, the dean's office representatives informed students about the rules for attending classes, the procedure for passing midterms №1 and № 2, the examination session, the FX and F grading system, as well as the passing scores for transferring to the next courses: from the 1st to the 2nd year (GPA 2.0) and from the 2nd to the 3rd year (GPA 2.1). Particular attention paid to the fact that students must transfer to the next year without academic debt.
The issues of receiving and returning work sheets to the dean's office, passing the summer semester, re-learning subjects and passing exams explained.
Students also reminded of the need to complete the «SKMA - beyond corruption» survey in the Platonus system.
For the 2024–2025 academic year, a passing grade (GPA) has been established for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the educational programs «Pharmacy» and «Technology of Pharmaceutical Production» for transfer from one course to another (see Table 1). Students also have the right to transfer to the next course in the absence of academic debt.
