Excursion in the Context of the Program «Nature of the native land. Climatic features of the region. Animal and Plant World of the Region»
The excursion was organized as part of a thematic program aimed at familiarizing students with the nature of their homeland, the climatic features of Southern Kazakhstan, as well as the diversity of flora and fauna in the region.
The region has a moderately continental climate, which contributes to the richness of biodiversity.
The students visited the zoo, where they learned about the diversity of the animal world. The excursion began with the pavilion of rare and endangered species, such as the Amur tiger, lions, and bears. Participants learned about their natural habitats and conservation measures. Next, the students were introduced to local animals, including saigas, and their adaptations to the environment. The giraffe made a particularly strong impression on the students, drawing attention with its majestic appearance.
The excursion continued in the pavilion of exotic birds, where the guide spoke about migration and the importance of preserving these species. In the aquarium, students learned about tropical fish, jellyfish, and starfish, as well as the role of fish in aquatic ecosystems and the necessity of protecting water resources. The tour concluded in the terrarium, which showcased a variety of reptiles, including snakes and lizards.
The visit to the zoo became an important educational experience, helping to expand the students' knowledge of the nature and ecology of the region, as well as strengthening their pride in the natural heritage of their homeland. The excursion contributed to the development of ecological awareness and the cultivation of patriotism among the participants.
