Department Day at the SKMA Library

The arrival of new literature in the library is always a significant event for the teaching staff of our educational institution.
On December 9-11, 2024, the day of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” was held at the library and information center of JSC “SKMA”.
Goal: to introduce students to new books that have entered the library collection, to awaken young people’s interest in reading books, and to expand their spiritual knowledge.
Textbooks on “History of Kazakhstan”, “Psychology and Cultural Studies”, “Fundamentals of Anti-Corruption Culture” and other new publications in Kazakh, Russian and English have been added to the library collection of SKMA.
The information day at the library began with a tour of the reading room, and a conversation ensued about the role of the library in the modern world and the importance of books in human life.

Teachers and students of the department got acquainted with educational and scientific literature in the library, as well as new collections, received information about the library website, electronic resources available to users.
