Creative evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Shоna Smakhanuly

04/17/24 in the city universal library named after A.S. Pushkin an anniversary evening was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the figure of Kazakh satire, a sympathetic son of the nation, a bright-faced teacher, writer-linguist Shona Smakhanuly. The event was attended by senior teachers of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines of SKMA B. Utegenov and A. Ibraimova, as well as 1st year students, actors of the Shymkent Comedy Theater. The purpose of the creative evening is to develop among young people a sense of respect and love for the Motherland and their native language.
During the event, a book exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Shona Smakhanula was created, and a short video was also shown. In addition, a skit was staged with the participation of theater professionals, and excerpts from the poet’s examples were read by the youth. It was also emphasized that the philosophical meaning and lyrical style of Shona Smakhanuly’s poems are capable of making young people feel the reality of life and reflect the dreams of the people. 1st year student of the specialty “Dentistry” Amantay Ulan gave an interview about Sh. Smakhanuly to the local TV channel “Ontustik”.
Our youth participants received valuable information about Shona Smakhanuly and were spiritually enriched by him.
