Cooperation with partner universities continues!

As part of the internationalisation of medical education, from 17 November to 9 December 2020, the Department of Social Medical Insurance and Public Health held online lectures in the discipline of “Public Health” on the Zoom platform.

Professors from the Polish partner university WSB-NLU (Nowy Sacz Graduate School of business - National Louis University, Poland) Janusz Soboń, Ruslana Seleznyova, Urszula Kolasinska introduced the topics of the lectures and presented a new vision of changes and innovations in the healthcare system.

Professor Janusz Soboń introduced the audience to information management in health care and theories of motivation and their use in management practice.

Associate Professor Ruslana Seleznyova gave a course of lectures on the topics: 1). Managerial decisions in the course of medical activity. Methods and individual styles of decision-making. Organisation and control of decision implementation; 2). Structure of economic losses due to morbidity, disability and mortality; 3). The basic principles of a market-based health care system. Informatisation and mobile applications in healthcare; 4). Organisation of medical care for the population (primary and hospital, inpatient care).

Professor Urszula Kolasinska presented information on the basics of health care financing. She talked about health care systems and forms of health care in countries around the world.

During the online lectures, students actively participated in the discussion and gave feedback. Special mention should be made of the following students: Asskarov Djafar, Funkner Andrey, Beissen Duman.
