"City competition named after Akhmet Baitursynov"

On April 18 2025, Shymkent hosted a city competition among teachers named after Akhmet Baitursynоv The competition was organized by the Shymkent City Language Training and Methodological Center on the initiative of the Shymkent City Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives in accordance with the Action Plan for the Implementation and Development of the Language Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029.
The purpose of the competition is to identify, support and encourage teachers who work creatively in the field of teaching the state language, to encourage teachers to constantly improve themselves, and to increase the authority of teachers. 10 teachers who teach the Kazakh language in non-Kazakh classrooms took part in the competition.
The competition consisted of 3 stages: the first stage: "Effective use of modern technologies in Kazakh language lessons", preparation of a lesson model using modern technologies in teaching the Kazakh language through presentation. The second stage: Demonstration of methods for the effective use of best practices in language teaching, exchange and protection of methodology. The third stage: ask language learners to complete tasks on 4 types of speech acts.
The competition was attended by the teacher of the Department of General Education Disciplines Asiya Amangeldykyzy Isabekova, who took the III place. We wish Asiya Amangeldykyzy success in her creative work. Congratulations on the award!
