Chess championship in Shymkent

A healthy lifestyle is a way of life aimed at completely changing previous habits regarding food, physical activity and rest. Promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle is an important part of the work of university teachers. Therefore, many teachers actively participate in sports events of SKMA and the city of Shymkent. For example, senior lecturer of the department of “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” Turadilov M.U. took second place at the Shymkent chess championship among seniors. The chess championship of the city of Shymkent was held from March 9 to 17, 2024. The organizers were the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Shymkent and the Shymkent branch of the “Kazakhstan Chess Federation”. This tournament not only had the status of the official city chess championship, but was also a qualifying competition for the Kazakhstan Chess Championship. Congratulations to Turadilov M.U. with second place!
