Art and Science: Neurology student’s scientific projects in the spotlight at the Department

On September 17th 2024, the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Neurosurgery hosted a significant event—the defense of scientific projects prepared by students from the English-speaking groups: V-ZHMSHA-05-20, V-ZHMSHA -06-20, V-ZHMSHA -07-20, and V-ZHMSHA -08-20. During the event, students presented their research on current issues in neurological diseases, including myasthenia gravis, Huntington's chorea, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and spinocerebellar ataxias.
The jury, composed of faculty members from the department, attentively listened to all presentations, asked questions related to the project topics, and provided constructive feedback and recommendations. Each project was thoroughly reviewed and discussed, allowing for the identification of student achievements as well as areas requiring further research and refinement. The jury emphasized the scientific significance of the research, the quality of the presentation, and the depth of data analysis.
The event was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, fostering knowledge exchange and idea sharing. All participants received valuable comments and suggestions that will aid in the further development of their scientific interests and professional skills.
We thank the students for their hard work and active participation, and the jury members for their expert opinions and support. We anticipate that the results will serve as a foundation for future research and scientific advancements in the field of neurology.
