Academic mobility of the teacher of AO «SKMA» Sh.T. Polatbekova in KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova

In the period from 1st March to 12th March of this year the teacher of the Department of «Microbiology, Virology and Immunology» Sh.T. Polatbekova conducted lessons in the Department of «Microbiology and Virology» of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov in the frame of academic mobility. She taught the discipline «Oral microbiology» on the following themes:

1. Fundamentals of Clinical Microbiology. Dental diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative cocci. Their description. Microbiological research methods. Odontogenic infections.

2. Pathogenic and opportunistic mycobacteria. Oral tuberculosis. Pathogenic and opportunistic corynebacteria. Bordetella. Role in the pathology of the oral cavity.

Lessons were held in Kazakh for 2nd year students of the specialty «Dentistry» according to modern teaching methods.
