Academic mobility of the head of microbiology department, d.m.s, acting Professor Seitkhanov B.T. was in KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov

In the period from February 10 to February 22, 2020, the Head of Microbiology, d.m.s, Professor Seitkhanov B.T. on academic mobility held classes at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov in the discipline "Microbiology" on the following topics in microbiology and virology department:

1. Pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic corynebacteria. Bordetella.

2. Tuberculosis. Leprosy.

3. Antigens and antibodies. Biological products: vaccines, serums, diagnostics, allergens. Immunoprevention and immunotherapy of infectious diseases.

4. The basics of the doctrine of chemotherapy. Classification of antibiotics. Mechanisms for the development of resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics. Determination of antibiotic and disinfectant sensitivity / resistance. Sterilization. Disinfection.

Lessons were held according to the TBL method for 2nd year students in the specialties: "Dentistry", "General Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Pharmacy", "PTP".

The result of the scientific direction of academic mobility was the future conclusion of an agreement with the Department of Microbiology and virology of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova on a joint scientific project entitled "International multicenter prospective study of the features of pneumococcal infection."
