About the educational hour in honor of the holiday "May 1 – Day of Unity of the people of Kazakhstan"

Russian language course of the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages held an educational event dedicated to the celebration of "May 1 – the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan".

This holiday has been widely celebrated since 1996. In the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On holidays" it has the status of a state holiday, therefore this day is officially fixed in the country as a day off.
Kazakhstan has been the homeland of many nations and nationalities for decades.

Every year, on a significant holiday, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and uluses living in Kazakhstan celebrate that they live in peace, prosperity, unity and solidarity.

In this regard, a single holiday uniting Kazakhstanis is celebrated - May 1 – the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan.
Summing up the event, the staff of the department thanked the students who took an active part and showed their talents.
