The 22nd of September – the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of January 20, 1998, a holiday was established in the country - the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated annually on September 22.

This is a common holiday for all Kazakhstanis, based on the following idea: every language is a part of the spiritual heritage of all mankind, and every culture is an invaluable contribution to the world civilization.

Within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan in the period from September 17 to September 22, the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages, the Foreign Languages Department held a Week of Languages on the topic «Мәңгілік елдің – тілі де мәңгілік». 

Within the framework of the Week, the following events were held: an exhibition of thematic wall newspapers, a competition of essays on the topic «Туған тілім – айбыным», a contest of readers on "Үш тіл - үш тұғыр", in which more than 50 students of the academy and college took an active part.

As a result of the Week of Languages «Мәңгілік елдің – тілі де мәңгілік», the student of the 2nd year of the specialty "General Medicine" Orazova Ademy, the student of the 1 st year of the specialty "Pharmaceutical Production Technology " was recognized as the best in the readership competition. Drygina Anastasia, 1 year student of the specialty "Pharmacy" Tolybaeva Arailym.

The winners of the essay competition on the topic «Туған тілім – айбыным» were the student of the 1st year of the specialty "Medical work" Ada Adaia Gaisaeva, the student of the 1st year of the specialty "General Medicine" Otarbayeva Darina, the student of the 1st year of the specialty "General medicine" Maratyzy Asel.

Among the more than 30 thematic wall newspapers for their creative approach, colorful design, creativity and relevance to the subject, the main award was given to students of the group of specialty "Technology of pharmaceutical production", students of the specialty group "Technology of pharmaceutical production", students of the group of specialty "General Medicine".

A week of languages on the topic "Мәңгілік елдің - тілі де мәңгілік", organized by the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages, the Department of Foreign Languages, ended with a big festive concert and rewarding the winners.

The week has become one more confirmation of the fact that each people is a unique culture, history, traditions, and, of course, the language is the conductor of this unique culture. And to save it, save it and give it to our descendants is the task of today, the solution of which can not be postponed until later.
