«SOUTH KAZAKHSTAN SCHOOL OF CLINICAL NEUROLOGY»

Under this name, on the eve of the Day of Kazakhstan Science on March 31 and April 01, 2022, an International scientific and practical conference was held in mixed online and offline formats. The conference was organized by: employees of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology of the SKMA with the support of the Departments of Public Health of the Turkestan region and Health of Shymkent.
On the first day of the conference, the problems of children's neurology were discussed, on the second day - adult neurology. Leading doctors from Russia, Israel, Tatarstan and Kazakhstan joined the information space.
During the conference, cerebrovascular diseases, degenerative, demyelinating, autoimmune and orphan diseases of the nervous system, neurorehabilitation, epilepsy, neuromuscular pathology, and neurological complications in COVID-19 were discussed.
Within two days, over 7000 doctors, as well as over 300 doctors, doctoral students, resident doctors from medical schools of Kazakhstan and JSC "SKMA" registered participants on the online platform of the conference. All of them joined the work of the largest section of young scientists, which confirms the interest of future specialists of a narrow profile.

On the first day of the conference, the rector of SKMA, Professor Myrzabek Myrzashevich Rysbekov, addressed a welcoming speech, noting the great informational and educational importance of this conference, wished the participants fruitful work and success in their work.
