Round table dedicated to the “100th anniversary of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev and Sagadat Nurmagambetov”

On April 30, 2024, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev and Sagadat Nurmagambetov, a round table was organized at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Khalyk Kakarmany, the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov, as well as Khalyk Kakarmany Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev, who hoisted the Victory Banner over the Reichstag. Foreign students began the event with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The round table was attended by students of the foreign group V-MSHAV-11-22 and teachers of the department. Goal: to introduce foreign students to the exploits of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War and understand the historical significance of the Second World War. 2nd year foreign students Sheetal and Yahoo Muzzammil Ahmad defended a report on two heroes and demonstrated prepared video presentations about their lives and exploits.
Students of group V-Fotk-03-22 Malik Balnur and Otegen Raushan performed the song “Katyusha”. At the end of the round table, the head of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social and public disciplines” Nurzhanbaeva Zh.O. thanked all foreign students and expressed gratitude for those who took part.
