The round table "It is necessary to know", organized by the city youth library and the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.

On December 2, 2024, the city Youth Library and the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin Languages of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy under the leadership of A. S. Zhakipova held a round table "It's worth knowing" dedicated to World AIDS Day on December 1.

The International AIDS Day is celebrated annually on December 1. This is a day of reminder of the need to stop the spread of the global HIV epidemic/AIDS. In connection with this date, a round table "It's worth knowing" was held. These include Roza Nurmakhanovna Abieva, epidemiologist at the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS of the Shymkent city Health Department, associate professor at the Educational institution M. Auezova -Zhumataev Nurlybek Srailovich, senior lecturer at the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin Languages of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Zhakipova Aziza Seitzhapbarovna and students of the B-SK- 01-24 group of the Medical Academy.

The origin, spread and symptoms of AIDS were discussed. Special attention was paid to the issues of HIV diagnosis and information was shared about which medical institutions can currently be examined and their addresses. The students were also given information on how to infect them, not to get infected, and explanatory work was carried out on the adaptation of young people to a healthy lifestyle.
