Patriotic Evening "Echo of the Afghan mountains", held on February 15, dedicated to the day of withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan

Senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages Zhakipova A. S. took part in a meeting with students of the group VM-SOA-06-24 with veterans of the Afghan war "echo of the Afghan mountains" in the City Youth Library.The meeting was attended by veterans of the Afghan war: Sergeants Tlemesov Tuimebek, Kasymov Marklen, and Captain Malika Serikbaykyzy, senior assistant to the head of the educational department of military unit 6698 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the veterans shared their memories and recollections of the difficult times of that time. At the same time, a video was shown, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the soldiers who died during the war. The evening's celebration of the souls of war veterans and fallen soldiers, honoring their names, gave the audience and young people great thoughts and gave the young people mysterious feelings.
