ON THE PRACTICAL TRAINING OF 4TH YEAR STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME «6B10105 PUBLIC HEALTH»

From the 6th to the 31st of January 2025 the students of the 4th year of the educational programme 6B10105 «Public Health» successfully completed their practical training at the Polyclinic № 8 in Shymkent. The main goal of the internship was to consolidate theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in the field of health care organisation and disease prevention.
During the internship the students got acquainted with the work of the polyclinic, including the organisation of out-patient medical care, interaction between different departments and specialists, as well as sanitary and epidemiological control issues. Special attention was given to the study of preventive measures, the implementation of mass vaccinations and the monitoring of morbidity in the area.
Students actively participated in the development of activities aimed at improving the health of the population, analysed data on the spread of diseases and familiarised themselves with medical documentation and legal regulations in the field of health care.
The internship at Polyclinic № 8 allowed the students to gain valuable experience and deepen their knowledge in the field of public health, preparing them for further professional activities in the field of medicine and disease prevention.
