ACADEMIC MOBILITY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL PRACTITIONER 1 AT THE ABU ALI IBN SINA BUKHARA MEDICAL INSTITUTE

Intern-doctors of the «General practitioner-1» Department of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy visited the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina from 06.11.2023 to 11.18.2023 on the basis of a cooperation agreement within the framework of the academic mobility program. The academic mobility took place in the discipline "Childhood diseases".

On the first day, students got acquainted with the history of the Medical Institute as a whole, its internal order and educational system.
Intern-doctors during the training in the discipline "Childhood diseases" had lectures and practical classes, improved their practical skills in the Clinical Skills Center, acquired new knowledge, new information. The learning process is not limited to the institute. As part of their hands-on learning, Intern-doctors visited hospitals where they worked with patients.
In general, Intern-doctors devoted their time not only to education, but also to getting to know the culture, traditions, values and culture of the city of Bukhara, its way of life and unique historical places.
The academic mobility program allowed our Intern-doctors to expand their clinical horizons, visit another country, and gain a unique experience of studying at a university in another state. All this allows you not only to make new friends and make a great impression, but also to increase your competitiveness in the future.

At the end of the visiting, Teshaev Sh. Zh the Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina sent a letter of thanks to Rysbekov M. M. the rector of SKMA and Datkaeva G. M. the head of the «General practitioner-1» Department and expressed confidence that in the future the faculty of the university and students will continue to actively cooperate within the framework of the academic mobility program.
