«Republic Day – a Pillar of Independence»

On October 23, under the guidance of Professor G. E. Bektenova, Head of the Pediatrics-2 Department at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and organized by department assistants G. M. Onlasbekova and A. M. Abdiyeva, an educational event dedicated to Republic Day was held with students of groups ВМ-МҚА 04-23 and ВМ-МҚБ-04-23. The event was entitled “Republic Day – a Pillar of Independence.”
The main aim of the event was to foster patriotism among the younger generation; encourage students to respect national symbols, their native language, culture, and traditions; help future professionals understand that the country’s development and prosperity directly depend on their knowledge and work; and emphasize the importance of preserving friendship, peace, and mutual understanding among the multiethnic people of Kazakhstan.
The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students gained a clear understanding that Republic Day is a national holiday honoring the country’s history, unity, and solidarity. During the celebration, students delivered informative presentations on the historical events that shaped independent Kazakhstan and on the development of our state. Today, strengthening sovereignty and enhancing the country’s standing at home and abroad are among the foremost responsibilities of the younger generation, especially our inquisitive students.
Republic Day symbolizes our shared pride and firm confidence in the future. Every conscientious citizen and every student should appreciate the significance of this holiday. May our sky-blue flag always fly high and the foundations of our country remain strong. Building a Kazakhstan with a bright future and lasting sovereignty together is the sacred duty of today’s youth!
