Report of an unplanned educational hour held on 03.09-04.09.24 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the SKMA on the topics "Family planning" and "Becoming a conscious parent".

At the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy among the 4th year students of the Faculty of General Medicine 03.09-04.09.24, an event was held in the form of an unplanned educational hour on the topics "Family planning" and "Becoming a conscious parent". Gulmira Akberdieva, responsible for educational work at the department, made an introductory speech, who emphasized the importance of these issues.
During the educational hour, Aida Akhverdieva, a student of group B-ZHMKA-03-21, made a presentation on the topic "Family planning". The purpose of this work is to explain to students the methods of fostering responsibility for starting a family, preventing unplanned pregnancy, preventing accidental sexual intercourse and contraception issues.
The following report was made by students of the B-ZHMKB-04-21 group on the topic "Becoming a conscious parent". In this report, students were provided with information about pregnancy preparation and proper management, as well as the importance of family planning. The students were given information that helps teenagers to be more competent in matters of relationships, sexual and reproductive health. The students listened attentively, asked questions after the reports and received comprehensive answers.
